Selective laser melting uses layer contour and contour filling information of discrete three-dimensional model to control high-energy laser beam melting metal or metal powder layer by layer,forming a metal part with dense organization and metallurgical combination.It's a technology with numerous advantage in forming,theoretically can form any parts with complex structure,but SLM process still result in much key question,such as there is residual stress inside molded part and parts warping or deforming.So the article develop three separate area scanning strategies integrated existing scanning algorithms in domestic and foreign,especially those for commercial equipment,and study the influence of scanning methods on residual stress distribution and deformation of SLM forming parts.The main contents are as follows.(1)The generating process and testing result of separate area algorithms.There are three separate area scanning strategies developed,namely rectangular clapping separate area scanning,bias layer cross separate area scanning and screw separate area scanning.The steps of scanning path generation are as follows: data preprocessing,generating contour offset scan path and contour section scan path,spliting area,truncating scan line by region boundary and attributing area scan line,following rules to output final scan line.The experimental results show that the three separate area algorithm can deal with the complex contours correctly,and can form the parts with dense structure and excellent mechanical properties.(2)Effect of scanning strategy on residual stress distribution and deformation of SLM forming part.The influence of the scanning strategy on the residual stress distribution is analyzed from the length and plane side respectively.It is found that the bias layer cross separate area scanning strategy and screw separate area scanning strategy can effectively reduce the residual stress value and improve the residual stress distribution.And the reasonable experimental model is designed to verify the effect of the length of the scanning line and the scanning method on the deformation of the forming part.The experimental results show that the deformation is positively correlated with the length of the scanning line,and it is found that the separate area scanning method can improve the deformation phenomenon.However,There was no significant difference in the improvement effect with three separate area scanning methods.(3)The design and implementation of separate area scanning system.Adapting modular thinking design separate area scan path planning system.And based on the actual use case and function,the corresponding data structure is designed,and the scanning system is realized by Visual Studio 2010 integration environment and MFC(Microsoft Foundation Classes)as the development tool.It's functions is not only setting parameters freely and planning scanning path,but also displaying planed scanning path correctly.
