Iron and steel industry is an important raw material department,to provide important iron and steel material for the various fields of manufacturing.The current scale of China's iron and steel industry has been to keep the world first and dominant for many years.Crude steel production is close to 0.8 billion tons per year,about 50% of the world's total.However,at the same time the large industry scale also brought a large amount of solid wastes.In steel industry,the emissions of steel slag is the second solid waste after blast furnace slag,about 15% 20% of crude steel production.But the utilization rate of steel slag is far lower than the blast furnace slag,only about 10% 20%.Mostly in the stacked state,it not only takes up a lot of land,also caused great pressure to the natural environment.Compared with the traditional steel slag utilization way,the use of steel slag preparation of glass ceramics has a greater economic potential.Especially in the big background of “The 13 th Five Year Plan” period,our country deepening economic supply side structural reforms and the people generally have a higher request for the ecological environment,the research and development of green circular economy of traditional heavy industry is particularly urgent.This paper studied the preparation of CaO-MgO-Al2O3-SiO2 system glass ceramics with converter steel slag from Shaanxi Steel Group Hanzhong iron and steel CO.,LTD.As a study of comprehensive utilization of metallurgical resources,raising the utilization rate of metallurgical industry solid wastes as far as possible is a core problem.So this article focuses on the influence of steel slag add ratio on glass ceramics crystallization,organization,and performance.The experimental results show that,in the designed mother glass formula of this paper,when the add ratio of steel slag not greater than 40wt%,the glass-ceramics sample is hard to overall crystallization.Increase the steel slag adding ratio will significantly promote the mother glass crystallization until the adding ratio more than 60wt%.When the add ratio of steel slag at about 55wt%60wt%,the mother glass crystallization and variety of performance of the prepared glass ceramics shown better comprehensive properties.The main phase of prepared ceramics glass are pyroxene and diopside and crystal grain sizes are about 0.20.5?m.On the basis of selected raw material configuration,in order to optimum heat treatment process and work out a better system of heat treatment,this work studied the “two-step” heat treatment process using the method of orthogonal experiment while bending strength as main index.Concluded that after “nucleation temperature 730 ? and preserve 1 h;crystallization temperature 840 ? and preserve 2 h” heat treatment,the glass ceramics sample shown the best bending strength,at 192.8 MPa.
