| Because of its good physical and mechanical properties,the composites have been widely used in the field of high temperature and heat resistant structures.However,due to the high hardness and high strength,it is easy to cause the defects such as fiber tearing,pulling out and surface crack in the machining process.This paper focuses on the composite materials with different processing cutting force,cutting temperature and the workpiece surface integrity evaluation method research,provide support to establish a high efficiency and low damage processing composite and composite surface quality evaluation system.Through groping for C/C composites cutting force and cutting parameters,processing experiment of cutting temperature and cutting parameters to obtain the effect of cutting parameters on cutting force and cutting temperature,composite processing milling force and milling temperature were with the spindle rotation speed and the increase of cutting depth and feed rate increased.Through carry out general milling,grinding,ultrasonic assisted turning,ordinary turning,ultrasound assisted ultrasonic milling processing,drilling,line cutting,sand line cutting,and other variety of processing cutting test,from suitable for processing characteristics,processing equipment,tools,surface roughness,surface morphology,processing efficiency and dimensional accuracy of the multiple of C/C composite processing system were studied to determine the applicability of the various processing.For C/C composites processing surface quality and damage evaluation,by different processing methods on the surface of C/C composites damage on,indicating that C/C surface damage forms are mainly surface damage,injury of sub surface damage of matrix and three main forms,roughly proportional to the sub surface damage and the degree of roughness values,as evaluation of materials processing damage index,matrix damage no more uncertainty,the defects of the matrix effect is bigger,the surface damage has little effect on the material properties.In view of the characteristics of anisotropic mechanical properties of C/C composites,effects of different processing methods and processing factors on the mechanical properties of the specimens was carried out.The results show that the cutting parameters of C/C composite sample processing effect the carrying capacity,the lower cutting speed,the smaller cutting depth,the higher the mechanical properties of the specimens,and defects of the material itself is important influence factors that lead to the instability of the mechanical properties of specimens. |
