| With the further development of low permeability reservoir,tight reservoir and thin layer reservoir,horizontal well and fractured horizontal well has become main well types for the de velopment of those reservoirs.Thus,it is important to analysis the performance of horizontal well and fractured horizontal well to obtain the formation characteristics to guide the develop ment and adjust of the well design scheme.Advanced decline analysis is a fast and efficient method to obtain formation parameters,fracture parameters and dynamic reserves,which only need conventional data including produ ction and tubing pressure or casing pressure.This method has been widely used to predict pro duction,calculate recoverable reserves and determine formation parameters in the field for a l ong time.This paper mainly introduces the research status of the advanced decline analysis and its application on the horizontal well and fracture horizontal well.The basic theory and characteri stics of the advanced decline analysis methods,including Fetkovich method,Blasingame met hod including β derivative,Agarwal-Gardner method 、 NPI(normalized pressure integral)method,are presented in the paper.Combined with transient well test and conventional declin e analysis,the advanced decline analysis for horizontal well and fractured horizontal well is pr oposed.Type curves are plotted to conduct parameter sensitivity analysis,a relevant software developed.The paper also analyses the applicability of each method.Vertical well,fractured v ertical well,horizontal well and fractured horizontal well are all involved in this paper.After s ummarizing the work in this paper,the future research direction are also given. |
