Sulfur dioxide emissions from the air is affected by many factors, including natural factors and human factors. The influence of natural factors on sulfur dioxide emissions is relatively weak, which is known as indirect effect. The influence of human factors is called direct effect, and human factors are divided into two categories: life and Industry. With the continuous development of economy, people’s quality of life has been improved, and the level of industrialization has been improved. Our country is vast, geographical structure, cultural environment, economic level have great difference, this paper through the analysis of influence of heterogeneity on economic growth in various regions of our country of sulfur dioxide emissions, its purpose is to more accurately determine the influence coefficient of the impact of economic growth on the sulfur dioxide emissions in all regions, which is around the rational planning of economic development model, and give some advices to develop the environmental protection policy. The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)the description and analysis of the influence of per capita GDP,coal consumption, population density, industrial GDP ratio and other factors on the sulfur dioxide emissions based on the established multiple linear economic growth and sulfur dioxide emissions in2014 on the spatial data of China’s 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions of the regression model, analysis of the impact of China’s economy the sulfur dioxide emissions from the average.(2)the establishment of sulfur dioxide emissions and per capita GDP,coal consumption, population density, industrial GDP for nonparametric kernel regression smoothing model, robust nonparametric local linear regression model and the nonparametric model is better than the local polynomial fitting curve, and three kinds of models were compared and analyzed to find out the optimal model.(3)through spatial autocorrelation test to determine the impact of China’s economic growth on sulfur dioxide emissions in the presence of spatial clustering. The GWR model was established to analyze the heterogeneity of economic development in china. The results showed that the per capita GDP 31 China growth to a certain extent to the effect of sulfur dioxide emissions showed a negative correlation with sulfur dioxide emissions per capita growth of GDP decreased; At the same time, economic growth is the heterogeneity ofsulfur dioxide emissions caused by the influence coefficient of the southwestern region of Yunnan,Hainan,Guangxi,Tibet,Xinjiang and other large, and the northeast region of Heilongjiang,Jilin,Liaoning, etc.the influence coefficient is generally small, showing the phenomenon of regional agglomeration;in 2014 the data analysis shows that the technical level of our country has been effectively improved, industrial structure transformation, economic growth is no longer at the expense of the environment but,in the sustainable development of the economy and to realize the importance to protect the environment, promote each other, showing each other role.
