Ring spinning is one of the most widely used spinning methods at present,which occupies the main market share,but it has a lot of yarn hairiness,that serious impact on its production process.This paper presents two types of new soft and smooth spinning methods based on the changes in cellulose fiber mechanics under the condition of heating and soft and smooth yarn production theory.Through the modification to the original device,we have not only improved the yarn properties of cellulose fiber soft and smooth spun yarns and fabric but also provided the theoretical support for the application of this technology.Based on the principle of the soft and smooth spinning,put forward to add a yarn contact groove in yarn forming zoom,which can enhance the friction of yarn fiber control to reduce the yarn hairiness and make the yarn structure more closely.The principle of restrained soft and smooth spinning was analyzed.The twist resistance during restraint makes the yarn can get more twist during the contact process,so as to reduce hairiness and improve the soft and smooth spun yarn quality stability.Design a contact groove soft and smooth spinning and restrained soft and smooth spinning two new types of soft and smooth spinning device at basis of the original soft and smooth spinning device by mechanical design,abrasive molding and other means.The new soft and smooth spinning device with simple installation and operation can improve the yarn quality optimization of amplitude.The new soft and smooth spinning device were successfully to product new soft and smooth yarn.The results showed that compared to the conventional yarn more than 50% 3mm yarn hairiness of two kinds of new soft and smooth spun yarn were reduced.Contact groove soft and smooth spinning was especially suitable for reducing fiber materials with larger rigidity of yarn hairiness,at the same time,both types of soft and smooth spinning methods can improve the spinning yarn tensile properties.The spinning parameter of two new methods were investigated.The results showed that when the contact grooves and restraint rod were tothe ironing work face,yarn hairiness decreasing rate is higher.When the groove depth was 0.6mm,yarn have the best hairiness,evenness and tensile properties.Double pole constraint the most obvious effect of optimization of yarn hairiness,limit restraint and ironing work face relative height of the larger,more pressing contact yarn denomination more closely,to reduce yarn hairiness and improve strength.The fabric of soft and smooth spun yarns were knitted and woven,and performance of the fabric were tested.The results show that the bursting strength property of new soft and smooth fabric is better than ring spun yarn fabric.What is more,the soft and smooth spun yarn fabric has better air permeability as well as moisture permeability.The skewness of weft knitted fabric was reduced,because the yarn residual torque was smaller.
