Soluble transition metal nanoparticle catalysts have attracted much attention because of their high selectivity and high activity.But the most difficult problems are the separation and reusability of the catalysts.Based on the earlier research of our group,the Pt and Pd nanoparticle catalysts stabilized by Ph2P(CH2CH2O)22CH3(LP1000)were used in the the selective hydrogenation of quinoline and its derivatives,isoquinoline and its derivatives and the selective hydrogenation of DPA.The results were as follows:The thermoregulated phase-transfer Pt nanoparticle catalyst was used in the selective hydrogenation of quinoline and its derivatives.Taking quinoline as an example,under the optimal reaction conditions(quinoline/Pt = 1000(molar ratio),T = 130 ?,PH2 = 3 MPa,t = 3 h),the conversion of quinoline and the selectivity of 1-THQ were all more than 99%.The catalyst could be used for 10 times without evident loss in activity and the selectivity remained unchanged.The turnover number(TON)was 10,474,which is the reported highest value of the selective hydrogenation of quinoline catalyzed by Pt nanoparticle catalyst.The thermoregulated phase-transfer Pt nanoparticle catalyst was used in the selective hydrogenation of isoquinoline and its derivatives.Taking isoquinoline as an example.Under the optimal conditions(isoquinoline/Pt = 500(molar ratio),T = 130 ?,PH2 = 3 MPa,t = 3 h),the conversion of isoquinoline was 98% and the selectivity of 1-THIQ was more than 99%.The catalyst could be used for 10 times without evident loss in activity and the selectivity remained unchanged.The TON was 5,340,which is the reported highest value of the selective hydrogenation of isoquinoline catalyzed by nanoparticle catalyst.The thermoregulated phase-transfer Pt nanoparticle catalyst was used in the selective hydrogenation of DPA at atmospheric pressure.Under the optimized conditions(T = 80 ?,DPA/Pt = 300(molar ratio),t = 20 min),the conversion of DPA was more than 99% and the selectivity of cis-ST was 97%,the TOF was 873 h-1,which was equivalent to the reported highest value of the selective hydrogenation of DPA catalyzed by Pd nanoparticle catalyst at atmospheric pressure.The catalyst could be used for 6 times without evident loss in activity and selectivity and the TON was 2,037.
