Pulp-molded tableware is mainly made by pulp.After adding functional chemicals(such as water resistant agent,oil resistant agent and retention agent,etc.),vacuum suction molding,heating,drying and cutting,it was been prepared.In this paper,bagasse brown pulp was considered as the main raw materials to prepare pulp-molded tableware.Although there are many factors will influence the oil resistant and water resistant properties of pulp-molded tableware,the oil resistant and water resistant properties are in the forefront without hesitation.This paper has made a comparative test on various properties of pulp-molded tableware and disposable plastic tableware.The effects of different kappa number and beating revolution of bagasse brown pulp on the both properties of oil resistance and water resistance were studied.So were water resistant agent dosage,oil resistant agent dosage,retention aid dosage.The optimum technological conditions of preparing pulp-molded tableware were obtained by single factor experiment and orthogonal test.In this paper,the oil resistance of paper was tested with TAPPI kit test method,and the water resistance of paper was measured with Cobb value and dynamic penetration analysis method.Compared the properties of water resistant and oil resistant of paper made by internal sizing and surface sizing,the main conclusions were as follows:(1)The properties of oil resistance and water resistance of disposable plastic tableware were better than pulp-molded tableware,which met the oil resistant requirements of food packaging paper.However,its weight performance,mechanical properties and degradation performance were worse than pulp-molded tableware.With the perspective of environmental protection and sustainable development,pulp-molded tableware has a good application prospects.(2)The fine fiber content,pulp kappa number of bagasse brown pulp had a greater impact on the properties of water resistant and oil resistant of paper.They had been improved through adding relatively high molecular weight retention aid and beating appropriately.(3)The appropriate dosage and order of addition of water resistant agent,oil resistant agent and retention aid were good to the properties of water resistant and oil resistant of paper.The results shown that the properties of water resistant and oil resistant of paper was optimal in the condition of 1200 r beating revolutions,2% resistant agent dosage,5% water resistant agent dosage,0.02% retention aid dosage with an oil resistant value of 8,16.74g/m~2 Cobb value,0.71g/m~3 tightness,136 ° acontact angle,2.44 kN/m tensile strength and 592 mN tear.(4)The properties of water resistant and oil resistant of paper were improved by internal sizing or surface sizing.The results shown that the oil resistance of the paper made by half internal sizing and half surface sizing was better than the oil resistance of paper made by only internal sizing or surface sizing with TAPPI Kit Test method,the hot oil method and the contact angle test.Through Cobb value,surface dynamic osmosis analysis and contact angle test method found that the water resistant performance of he paper made by half internal sizing and half surface sizing was best.In addition,the mechanical properties of the paper had enhanced by internal sizing or surface sizing.The paper made by half internal sizing and half surface sizing had better mechanical properties.
