In recent years,demand of mining continually increased in our country because of rapid development in the field,and producing efficiency,transportation ability had been promoted by advanced technology and craft,which leads to longer tunnel in mine.The former belt conveyor's tension generally conducted by simple devices including weight tensioning or fixed tension,which isn't capable for present transportation in mine under the long distance and huge transportation volume.Therefore brand new type of tension device for belt conveyor is needed to meet higher demanding of production.The hydraulic tensioning device can solve these problems well.It has a good ability to control the tension automatically,and it is easy to control.It has good pollution resistance and good safety performance,The working process of hydraulic tensioning system is divided into three stages: start-up stage;stable stage;braking stage,because the transmission belt has plastic deformation,and the leakage of hydraulic oil in the hydraulic system,leading to tension is always maintained at a certain value,the conveyor normal work inconvenience and the influence of certain,so the design of a controller,the tension constant is of great significance to the normal operation of belt conveyor.Hence research on tension device for belt conveyor is significantly constructive for engineering application.This thesis focused on the tension device for belt conveyor.Using AMESim and MATLAB software,the PID controller is designed to make the tension change according to the given value and related to real working condition,presented the complicated conditions intuitively,which will provide foundation to research and design of hydraulic tension device for belt conveyor,thus insure the performance stability in engineering application,and tremendously promote efficiency of hydraulic tension device.1)Observed dynamical power conveyor system through tracking entire operation process of conveyor.Analyzed dynamical trait which is basis of system constructing,and then discovered Kelvin model is most comprehensive and most precise model for dynamical trait of belt conveyor.2)Researched operating principle,working process,system modification,data analysis and finally obtained conclusion,and alteration was made to correct bugs generated from the unreasonable steep in operation.3)summarizes the problems in the operation of the hydraulic tensioning device of the transmission machine,optimizes the working flow and the control process of the hydraulic tensioning device,so that the operation of the transmission is more stable.4)By the simulation of the hydraulic tensioning device,the response curve of the tension of the conveyor under the influence of external interference is obtained.Comparing the curves before and after optimization,the optimized hydraulic tensioning system can respond to the tension interference more quickly.5)In view of the problem that the tension of the hydraulic system is difficult to maintain at a certain value,the PID controller is designed,and the tension of the hydraulic system after the steady stage is studied.The simulation results show that the tension can complete the follow of the given value and keep around the given value under the action of step and ramp signals.PID control effect is ideal.
