In 2008,China released a new list of hazardous wastes, the zinc smelting process, zinc leaching solution purification purification residue,including zinc powder-yellow medicine method, arsenic salt method,reverse antimony salt method, lead antimony alloy zinc powder process. In addition to copper, cadmium, cobalt, nickel, antimony and other impurities generated by the waste residue, classified as toxic waste, its transport,storage,use or disposal,according to hazardous waste management.Therefore, how to effectively utilize the purification slag produced in the wet zinc smelting and recover the valuable metals therein is of great practical significance, and it is also one of the important conditions to measure the comprehensive competitive strength of modern enterprises.The cadmium-depleted liquid is the filtrate of the purified slag purified by acid leaching and recovering copper and cadmium. One of the key technologies in the traditional wet zinc smelting process is how to remove impurity cobalt from the zinc sulfate solution, and the closed-circuit problem of cobalt ions in the cadmium-depleted liquid has been plaguing the wet zinc smelting plant.In this paper, based on the k reagent developed on the basis of the previous study, it has been applied to remove cobalt nickel in zinc sulfate solution. Through a large number of laboratory tests, a new technology of three stages of wet zinc smelting is developed. The zinc smelting plant carried out the whole process of semi-industrial purification test and industrial electrodeposition test, and the k reagent used to remove the high concentration of cadmium in the cobalt, and achieved good results. In this paper, we focus on the application of k reagent in the cadmium-depleted liquid produced by a wet zinc smelting plant.In this paper, the system of small, semi-industrial and industrial pilot production. The small test was carried out in a pure zinc sulfate system containing high and low concentrations of cobalt in the system of remediation of cobalt and the amount of k test conditions, the recovery agent was 1.17 times the cobalt mass ratio, k reagent 15 times the mass ratio of cobalt The amount of Co2+ in the zinc sulfate solution can be removed from 32.4 mg/L to 106 mg/L to about 1 mg/L. The results were in the range of 1 mg/L, and the feasibility and feasibility of the process were verified.
