With the continuous development of science and technology,the development of medium and high-end CNC machine tools has become one of the important tasks of manufacturing industry in different countries.Car milling compound machining center is a typical representative of the high-end machine,with high precision and high efficiency,high speed and other advan tages,has been recognized by all countries;the advantages and the key functional component of machine tool is inseparable.As the key functional component of the machine tool--the direct drive oscillating power tool holder,its performance directly affects the machining accuracy and efficiency of the whole machine.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the static and dynamic characteristics of the direct drive oscillating power tool holder to see whether it meets the requirements of machining accurac y.In this paper the key functional part of milling complex machining center direct drive head power tool as the research object,carries on the analysis,the static and dynamic characteristics of harmonic response,based on the analysis of machining center milling chatter,the staff stability lobes.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)using Solidworks software for direct drive head power tool for 3D modeling,and using ANSYS Workbench software to simulate the static characteristics of the analysis,get the maximum deformation in milling force and gravity and the maximum stress.(2)the modal analysis of the 3D model of direct drive head power tool,modes have been obtained before 6 order natural frequency and corresponding to different modes of direct drive,swing swing angle of power tool,get influence of swing angle on mode.(3)on the basis of modal analysis,the head of the direct drive power tool for harmonic analysis,the amplitude frequency characteristic curve of power tool under excitation of the graph,can be seen from the figure's resonance frequency,should avoid machining center frequency falls near the frequency.(4)the dynamic analysis of the direct drive oscillating power tool holder is carried out,and the stability of the m achining center in the operation is obtained.The influence of milling cutter number,radial cutting depth and feed rate on machining stability was studied.The results show that the less the number of teeth,the smaller the depth of radial cutting and the greater the feed rate,the less likely the chatter is.
