The Analysis On Overseas Drilling Engineering Project Management Mode

Drilling operation is an engineering science,a completed systematic specialized operational activity,which is carried out day and night.Nowadays drilling operation are changing from early traditional land and geological exploration drilling to more completed off-shore petroleum,natural gas drilling,and global climate research drilling.These completed drilling processes present a challenge not only to the drilling technology,but also to the management mode of drilling engineering.Project management of drilling engineering is the inevitable result of social mass production and highly developed market economy,a science of how to achieve the project goal using scientific planning and control based on the limited capital and time.This article analyzes the overseas daily rate drilling project management mode and turn key project management mode based on the present situation of drilling engineering project management and the theatrical analysis,against the problems existing on present project management.It puts forward two different project management model of daily rate system(including organizational structure,risk management,cost management and project control)and EPC system(including market development and project bidding;project preparation and project start;managing production operations;logistical management of the projects;HSE management of the projects;financial management of the projects;financial management of the project;law and contract management of the projects;human resource management of the projects.It will provide some reference for overseas drilling project management.
