Petroleum resources is unregenerated,low reserves and high consumption makes the oil shortage serious.Bio oil refining with heavy oil in FCC process can help processing waste biological oil and reduce the dependence on petroleum,bringing about both economic and environmental benefit.In this paper,bio oil including of illegal cooking oil and tallow oil are mixed into different combined FCC feeds,one composed of 70% VGO and 30% VR,and another composed of 90% VGO and 10% slurry.Comparative study of properties of these two FCC feeds before and after mixing with bio oil is made.Results show that density,velocity,carbon residue,sulfur content,nitrogen content and metal content decrease,saturate content decreases after FCC feed mixed with bio oil.When paraffin based Sudan atmospheric residue(AR)and naphthenic base Suizhong36-1 AR mixed with bio oil,quality is improved.FCC reaction performance of bio oil combined with different materials such as FCC feed,Sudan AR,Suizhong 36-1 AR,and mixed feed is studied by FFB experimental facility at different temperature.Research show that both tallow oil and illegal cooking oil has good reaction performance,with their conversions exceeding 96.0%.Distribution of products and conversion of illegal cooking oil are better than tallow oil.Oxygen is deprived as CO,CO2,and H2 O,so oxides include alcohol,fat,aldehyde and acid do not exist in liquid product.Cracking reaction performance of heavy oil improves obviously after mixing with bio oil.Yield of gasoline and conversion increase and product distribution improves.Compared with reaction performance of bio oil mixed with VGO under same reaction condition,yield of gasoline and conversion slightly decrease,but high light oil yield can still be obtained.Cracking reaction performance of AR greatly improves as a percentage of bio oil is mixed in.Gasoline yield,liquid yield and conversion increase.Tallow oil and illegal cooking oil have similar performance.Sudan AR is better than Suizhong 36-1 AR.Removal of petroleum acid can reach up to 99%,making FCC process an effective way of refining high-acid crude oil and bio oil.
