Carbon fiber composite material is a kind of difficult processing material which has been widely used in various fields.It has entered into the main bearing stage from the secondary bearing stage in the mechanical component.At present,the main mechanical connection between CFRP components is riveting and screwing so that there is a need to process a large number of mounting holes.And the quality of these connection holes directly restricts the safety of the assembly.Therefore,the study of carbon fiber composite material into the hole quality is necessary.In order to solve the problems of CFRP prone to machining defects,in this paper choosed T300 CFRP as the research object to carry out CFRP drilling test and finite element simulation,and the axial force and drilling quality in CFRP drilling are systematically studied.(1)The main sources of drilling force during drilling CFRP and the variation of each stage of drilling are analyzed.And the mechanism of hole wall roughness and outlet tearing during CFRP drilling was analyzed.(2)The CFRP drilling test platform was built and the reasonable drilling parameters were selected.The CFRP drilling test was carried out on the cemented carbide drill.The axial force,roughness and tear value were collected during the experiment.And the influence of the three factors on the axial force,roughness and tearing was analyzed by using the difference method.(3)Based on ABAQUS finite element software,the finite element model of CFRP drilling is established and the finite element simulation model is obtained to predict the axial force of CFRP drilling.The simulation model was used to carry out the orthogonal test,and the simulation results were analyzed by MATLAB software.The prediction model of drill bit diameter,spindle speed and feed rate was established,and the error analysis and significant test were carried out to ensure the prediction the accuracy of the model.(4)The roughness of the axial force and the prediction model of the tear are established.The roughness of the hole wall is approximately linear with the axial force of the drilling.The outlet tear is approximately quadratic with the drilling axial force,Then,the mathematical model is analyzed by MATLAB software,and the mathematical formula is analyzed.Finally,the experimental results show that the obtained mathematical model has certain accuracy and feasibility.
