Digital mine technology is a new type of mine informationized management technology,which integrates geological modeling,mining design,measurement and production management.Not only has it been widely used in foreign mining enterprises since it was invented,but also has become a standard technology.There is an iron mine being managed and produced in a way of traditional methods based on plane view,form and report.This kind of traditional model seems backward and the digital information is quite lower,which contributes that it does not match with the speed of mining development.In current status of domestic application of digital mine with lower-level,and on the foundation of the construction of a domestic iron mine as the engineering basis,this paper constructs geological database,surface model,ore-body model and block model by using of the 3D mining software Surpac which is generally available in foreign countries.Meanwhile,it studies the cut-off grade application of block model,and the main results are as follows:(1)Geological database of the mine is established in this article applying the software Surpac.It indicates that the geophysical database can be managed systematically and it is more convenient and efficient for operators to analyze.(2)The constructed terrain model and deposit model display the 3D-spatial-shaped features,location relations and occurrence characters of the ore body and the terrain surface clearly and comprehensively.By this,it provides the foundation and basis for further mining design and producing construction.(3)This software calculates the ore reserves of the block model and the results show that it closes to the data in the report.L1 is the main ore-body owning a large amount of deep-hidden resources,which provides an effective foundation for deep mining exploration and ore reserves management.(4)The block model clearly demonstrates the spatial distribution characteristics of ore grade all-around.It can provide real-time information of ore grade,and guide the production and management of mine timely.(5)The application of the block model in the cut-off grade increases the technical and economic quotas of mine-producing and management,implements the dynamic mine-management,and boosts the economical benefits for the mining enterprise.(6)The construction and application of the geological model have promoted the process of the mine digital-construction,changed the traditional model of producing and management,and accelerated the development of modernized manufacture.
