In the steel-rolling line,flying shear plays a key part in the production of finished steel plate.Cooperated with uncoiler and leveler,the steel finishing line levels and cuts the rolled steel strip into steel plates according to the demand of the downstream companies.With the development of flying cut technology,the speed and accuracy of steel plate production meets new challenges.The flying shear project researched in this paper was supported by a device equipment manufacturing company at Huadu district,which concentrates on researching and manufacturing of high speed and high accuracy flying shear.This paper mainly introduces the control system and control algorithm of the flying shear system.Firstly,this paper introduces the main components of steel finishing line,the operation of flying shears,product specifications and production control requirements.Then,the synchronous shearing principle of flying shears,including the path planning during shearing motion is analyzed;different shear planning of different cutting length;differences among the cutting process of long material,medium material and short material.Hardware equipment selection,electrical schematic design and communication line wiring definition were according to the production requirements of the flying shear control system.Then the mathematical modeling process of permanent magnet synchronous motor is analyzed,to prepare for the modeling of fuzzy PID control.In view of the nonlinear,strong coupling and time variation characteristics of industrial actual flying shear control system,fuzzy control algorithm is used to adjust parameters of conventional PID control according to different deviation obtained by CPAC.Combined with the model of permanent magnet synchronous motor,fuzzy control toolbox of MATLAB is used to finish the simulation of the fuzzy controller.The control system uses Computer Programmable Automatic Controller(CPAC)as well as the supporting software of GOOGOL Company as core development component to finish signal processing and program coding.Electronic cam technology is used to plan the motion trajectory of the shear axis.This technology ensures the accuracy of the synchronous shearing,achieves accurate tracking of a variety of complex trajectories.Implementation process of the fuzzy PID control algorithm,synchronous shearing and cam table calculation based on programming language similar to PASCAL are introduced in this paper.In order to make it simpler and easier to for production operation,HITECH touch screen is used in human-computer interaction;user interface is designed using the supporting software ADP 6.9.The communication system between the controller and the touch screen is realized by MODBUS protocol.The main contents of the protocol are introduced,including the principle of data link,the design of function code and the principle of CRC.The operation of the main interface in the human-computer interface and the significance of the multiple parameters are introduced in detail.Finally,the debugging process and trial production of the system are introduced in this paper.
