Bismuth oxychloride?BiOCl?as a kind of bismuth based semiconductor materials,has drawn considerable research interest due to it has a unique layered structure and suitable band gap.However,the main problem of BiOCl is the high photogenerated electrons and holes recombination rate which lead to low photocatalytic performance,and recovery of catalyst after reaction.In this paper,we have prepared a series of BiOCl films,which can solve the problems of recovery and improve the photocatalytic performance.The main work is summarized as follows:?1?Novel carbon dots modified BiOCl thin film?CDS / BiOCl?was synthesized via simple immobilization method.The results showed that the of 4 wt% CDs/BiOCl exhibited the best photocatalytic activity,and the degradation rate was up to 99% after 3 h under visible light irradiation.And the degradation efficiency was more than 90% after 4 cycles,indicating that CDs/BiOCl had high stability.The enhanced activity is ascribed to the enhanced light adsorption and the improvement of charge separation properties.In addition,Immobilization of CDs/BiOCl films can solve the problem of separating and recycling photocatalyst powders from the waste water,which has potential application prospect.?2?BiPO4/BiOCl film was synthesized via two steps at room temperature.The photocatalytic activities of BiOCl and BiPO4 were 80% and 35% in 2 h under UV light irradiation,respectively.With a further increase of BiOCl content caused a decrease in the photocatalytic activity and the best photocatalytic activity of the BiPO4/BiOCl-2 was degraded 99% of Rh B in 2 h under UV light irradiation.After 4 cycles,there was no obvious decrease of photocatalytic efficiency over Rh B under UV light irradiation.We proposed a reasonable photocatalytic mechanism.In addition,the BiPO4/BiOCl film can be used to solve the problem of the recovery and utilization,which has potential application prospect.?3?GO/ BiOCl has been successfully synthesized on FTO by simple immobilization method.We will further modify GO content to obtain the best photocatalytic activity.The photocatalytic activity of GO/BiOCl better than pure BiOCl,and the 2 wt% GO/BiOCl showed the best degradation of rhodamine-B?Rh B?which can reach 99% in 2h under visible light irradiation.Holes and superoxide radicals ·O2-were revealed as the dominant reactive species.The GO/BiOCl film can be used to recovery and utilization from solution,which has potential application prospect.
