| The textile industry occupies an important position in the national economy,and carding is an important process in textile production.However,the wear resistance and the sharpness of the domestic metallic card clothing are not enough,which leads to the short service life of the metal card clothing.In view of the above problems,this paper proposes to fabricate the surface modification layer with good wear resistance on the surface of the metal needle garments.In this paper,CrN coating by multi-arc ion plating and Cr layer by double glow plasma surface were prepared on the surface of metallic card clothing to study the mechanical properties and wear resistance.The optimum parameters of CrN test are as follows: the optimal process parameters for plating:the distance between the arc and metallic card clothings 20 mm the bias voltage 200 V,the arc current65 A,the coating temperature 220℃,the coating time 90 min,and nitrogen partial pressure 0.5Pa.The thickness of prepared CrN coating is about 5μm;The most suitable process parameters of Cr layer Prepared by double glow plasma alloying are as follows: holding time 3h,substrate voltage 450~480V,substrate current 1.1A,source voltage 900~960V,source current 1.7A,working pressure 35 Pa,and distance between the source and substrate 20 mm.The thickness of Cr layer was about 7 μm.The average hardness of Vivtorinox on the surface of the CrN layer is about 3.2 times of that of the substrate,and the nano-hardness value is about 3.3 times.The average microhardness of Vivtorinox on the surface of infiltrated Cr is 1.55 times of that of the substrate,and tthe nano-hardness value is about 1.85 times.The elastic modulus of the substrate is about 161 GPa,the elastic modulus of the CrN coated sample is 582 GPa,and the elastic modulus of the Cr sample is about 118 GPa.Scratch test showed that the binding force of CrN coating on the surface of metallic card clothing was about 64 N and the binding force of Cr layer was about 61 N.Regardless of different load and different sliding speed,the average friction coefficient of matrix sample is the highest,the average friction coefficient of CrN sample is the lowest,the average coefficient of friction of Cr sample is lower than matrix sample,but the The difference is small.The wear volume of the matrix sample is the highest,the wear volume of the Cr sample is less than that of the substrate,the wear volume of the CrN sample is the smallest,only about 0.1% of the matrix wear volume.The wear mechanism of matrix sample is abrasive wear and adhesive wear.The main wear mechanism of Cr sample is abrasive wear and oxidation wear.The wear mechanism of CrN sample is mainly caused by abrasive wear and stripping Layer wear-based. |
