Mining Waste Reclamation And Utilization Research In ShiGuai District

Shiguai District,as a resource-exhausted city,like other ones in China,contains numerous industrial and mining wasteland which seriously impacts the social economic development.Practical researching to the wasteland is of great realistic significance to recover the ecological environment,improve the living conditions of residents and promote the social economic development.This paper researches potential reclamation and suitability of the wasteland in Shiguai District based on the status analysis of industrial and mining land by field research and comprehensive evaluation.It also ascertains proper direction of the land and unreclaimed area according to the land damage situation and reclamation condition.The result indicates that at present,there is three plots of land and 66.12 hectares wasteland to be reclaimed and they can be all reclaimed as land.if so,66.12 hectares land will be increased according to the evaluation result of suitability.By functional division,the land in reclamation area can be used more reasonably.Based on the above research findings,this artical declares that the government should take measures from perspectives of administration,law enforcement,economy,project management and tecnology to bring the social benefit united with ecological and economic benefit.The research results of paper can provide practical foundation for administrator to formulate policies as well as provide reference for Baotou city even autonomous region to carry out the wasteland reclamation work in the future.
