| Hot stamping high-strength steel parts are widely used in the automotive industry with the development of the vehicle industry and the demand for lightweight.At the same time,the development of hot stamping process is particularly important,and the most important question is that to ensure the temperature is distributed uniformity on the part during the cooling quenching process.Though the theoretical and experiment of hot stamping technology have been studied in many developed countries,the results of the research of thermoforming technology are published rarely.So it is necessary to use the new optimization design method in hot stamping.In this paper,the research method of theoretical simulation combined with experiment is carried out.Simulation of the hot stamping process of the simple U-shaped parts is carried out.Then the pipe position,shape and size of the mold cooling system are obtained through optimize method.The main contents are as followed:Firstly,the simulation of the quenching process of U-shaped component is carried out,and the temperature field and stress field of a certain time are obtained.The data that obtained are taken as the parameters that the optimization of mold cooling system is needed.Secondly,the mold cooling system topology is optimized through the method that combined ansys with matlab programming language.Then the topology optimization design model of the hot press forming cooling system is established,which takes the shape,position and size of the cooling pipe as the optimization design variable,temperature drop rate and temperature distribution uniformity as the optimization targets.Thirdly,two sets of experimental molds were designed,one of which was designed according to previous experience,the other one was designed according to the result of topology optimization,and then hot stamping compare experiment was completed.During the process of experiment,the time curves of the stamping components and the mold on different observation points are obtained.Then,the mechanical properties of the two kinds of components that obtained from different molds are analyzed and the microstructure analysis is also observation.Finally,the simulation curves of the two different cooling systems are carried out and the time curves of different observation points are obtained.The results of simulation and experiment are in good agreement,which shows that the topology optimization method has a promising prospect in hot stamping. |
