In recent years,haze weather has appeard frequently in most cities of China,resulting in seriously damages to human-beings physical and mental health.However,people spend most of the time of their lives in the house.Therefore,people pay more and more attention to indoor air particulate matter,in particular,PM10 which can be breathed into the nasal cavity and PM2.5 which can get into the lung.To meet people's demand for fresh air,moreover,to create a clean and healthy residential air environment,we should reduce outdoor air particulate concentration by effective measures.First of all,with reference to the advanced test standards,the fresh air filter performance test system is designed and built.The experiment content consists of the design of whole experimental system,the reliability check and the choice of the experimental particulate generator.The test of air flow balance proves the reliability of the test system and the accuracy of the experimental data.The mosquito coils is selected as particulate generator by comparing the distribution of number concentrations in different particulate size.Secondly,the collection mechanism of fibrous filtrations and electrostatic precipitators are analyzed theoretically.According to the theoretical analysis,the relatively matched empirical formula of the collection efficiency of fibrous filtrations and electrostatic precipitators,and pressure drop of fibrous filtrations are obtained.In addition,the pressure drops of electrostatic precipitators usually are small,and analyzed with experiment results.However,the relatively matched empirical formulas are further optimized by the measurement error analysis,which are applicable to residential fresh air filter system.Finally,base on the PM2.5 concentration in 285 cities of China in 2015,the collection efficiency and the running time of fresh air filtration units in different cities are calculated.And according to the common residential building area,the fresh air filtration unit rated air volumes are calculated.So we analyze the influence of fresh air volume and outdoor PM2.5 calculated concentration on the cost–benefit evaluation of fibrous filtrations and electrostatic precipitators.The results show that the electrostatic precipitators have better economic benefits.And the outdoor PM2.5 calculated concentration and the residential buildings' area are lager,the electrostatic precipitators are easier to apply.In conclusion,electrostatic precipitators applying in the residential fresh air system could improve indoor air quality and save money.
