For the construction of the beautiful countryside,accelerating the development of urban-rural integration,effective control of point source pollution and non-point source pollution,effective improvement of the quality rural water environment,we analyse the characteristics of rural sewage and Suzhou residents living water as well as rural sewage collection and treatment mode,which are based on the investigation of Suzhou rural sewage treatment;the process of rural domestic sewage treatment in Suzhou was discussed and analyzed.The demonstration project is designed.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)According to investigation,the sampling analysis of 489 rural sewage treatment plants in Suzhou can be seen:15.75%of which is the A~2/O process,12.27%is the SBR process,2.25%is the ecological wetland,the rest(58.49%)is biological and ecological processes(among them,29.24%is biofilm treatment system+artificial wetland).Thus,the bio ecological combined process is dominant and suitable for rural sewage treatment in Suzhou.In the survey of 1448 natural villages,there were 959 taking over and 489independent facilities.Therefore,the first choice for the villages near the sewage treatment plants is centralized collecting and taking over.(2)Using biological filter+composite artificial wetland and ecological pond sewage treatment process has more advantages.The average removal rate of COD was 87.01%;TN,76.86%,as well as TP,84.05%.Furthermore,the effluent water quality can reach the first class A discharge standard of municipal wastewater treatment plant.
