Thin film transistor of Liquid Crystal Display(LCD for short)has become very popular recently,at the same time the number of abandoned and waste LCD glass has increased rapidly,and then seriousproblemsof environmental pollution from them have aroused extensive attention from people and the society.Until now,the best way to resolve these problems is to reutilize the waste LCD in the field of industrial producing.In this paper,waste LCD glass was used as the main raw material to produce a kind of low-temperature frit,to cool down the furnace slag of high temperature for the first time.On the one hand,this way of treatment can save a lot of energy.On the other hand,this kind of low-temperature frit can be widely used in cosmetic earth,surface and ground glaze etc again,so as to replace a large number of chemical raw materials and mineral raw materials,thus has obvious social and economic benefits.Waste glass fiber,also known as glass fiber waste,is another kind of industrial waste.With the continuous expansion of glass fiber production,the waste increased tremendously.In this paper,the preparation of vitrified tilesby adding proper amount of wasteglass fiber in the raw material was carried out,in order to improve the toughness and reduce the sintering temperature of vitrified tiles.From our results,it was shown thatthe resulting vitrified tiles had low bibulous rate and high gloss,and then reached our expected purpose.Meanwhile,the application of waste glass fiber on producing the substrate glass for printed circuit board(PCB)was tried for the first time.Our research indicated thatsuch PCB glass had lower surface roughness,higher softening point and reduced electrical impedance,and the property of PCB glass was improved in the whole.
