As a new type of coal utilization technology, not only can coal liquefaction take advantage of China’s abundant coal resources to produce a variety of alternatives to petroleum fuels, but also can reduce environmental pollution.Coal liquefaction technology development focuses on increasing the hydrogen-donating ability of coal liquefaction solvent.Orthogonal experiments and single-factor experiments were carried out successively in the hydrogenation of naphthalene and phenanthrene by using the autoclave. The optimal reaction conditions for the hydrogenation of naphthalene were found at 340 ℃,9 MPa,and 40 min.And the optimal reaction conditions for the hydrogenation of phenanthrene were found at 340 ℃,11 MPa,and 40 min.It was shown that the rank of factors affecting partial saturation of aromatics was temperature>pressure>time. The influence of different conditions on the distribution and selectivity of the hydrogenation products was found by single-factor experiments. In hydrogenation of the mixture of naphthalene and phenanthrene,it was found that phenanthrene increased the yield of tetralin by inhibiting the hydrogenation of naphthalene, and naphthalene increased the yield of octahydrophenanthrene by promoting the hydrogenation of phenanthrene. It had no effect on the types of the hydrogenation products but could promote the hydrogenation of aromatics when adding dicyclohexyl into aromatics. The influence of the mixed aromatics on hydrogenation products was studied when the mass ratio between naphthalene and phenanthrene was 3:1,2:1,1:1,1:2,and 1:3 with or without dicyclohexyl. The results of coal liquefaction showed partial saturation hydrogenation products of naphthalene and phenanthrene have good hydrogen-donating ability as solvents.Five different mixed hydrogenation products were applied to the coal liquefaction experiments, and several indexes such as the coal conversion rate, liquefaction oil yield, and PDQI were studied. The results indicated that the hydrogenation solvents showed the best performance in coal liquefaction and had the best hydrogen-donating ability when the mass ratio between naphthalene and phenanthrene was 3:1. |
