The reservoir of Donghe oilfield has experienced four stages of development, such as initial energy driving stage, low water flooding stage, media water flooding stage, high water flooding stage.Logs which are got in a certain stage can only reflect reservoir characteristics in the stage. So how to deduce log response in other development stage with change rule of logs and reservoir for enrich logging information during reservoir description and simulation in different stages,is the research objective of this paper.Characteristics of log include representative value and shape.Representative value is a focus symbol of a curve.Curve shape, including overall shape and sawtooth level,is synthesis of a layer's property. This paper discusses various mathematical methods to do representative value calculation, filtering, automatic layering, quantitative characterization shape and sawtooth level.Combined coring and logging data of eight core wells in Donghe 1 area, this paper analyze reservoir changes and characteristics of log GR.DT and RT,from qualitative and quantitative aspects with various mathematical methods. At last, this paper identify characteristics of logs changes during the development process, and build a log interconversion method. The conclusion can provide ideas for quantitative study of curves and referenced criteria for geology study.
