Horizontal well drilling technology has been widely used in most of the oil and gas fields in our country because of its significant advantages.However,a mature and practical interpretation method of the horizontal well logging interpretation has not been developed.This paper makes a research and analysis on the influences of dual lateral resistivity in horizontal well,and systematically introduces the domestic research status of horizontal well logging interpretation,and summarizes the reservoir parameters solving and reservoir fluid recognition of horizontal well as well.In horizontal wells,the dual laterolog resistivity curve is not accurate enough to estimate reservoir resistivity and identify reservoir fluid due to some environmental factors such as well deviation,layer thickness,surrounding bed and so on.So,environmental correction is needed for resistivity curve.Mud correction charts are constructed according to different wellbore diameters,and well deviation-surrounding bed/ layer thickness correction charts are built according to different well deviation by means of the finite elements numerical simulation method,then the environmental correction of resistivity curve is realized using the above charts.In the meanwhile,we proposed the concept of “sweet section” with respect to the appearance of non-reservoir in the drilling of horizontal well and the lateral differences in reservoir liquid property,and we focused on the identification of the “sweet section” in horizontal wells.When logging data is complete,the environmental correction for logging curves is achieved,the interpreting models for various reservoir parameters are constructed,and the discrimination criteria for reservoir fluid properties is determined combined with the physical property data.While the logging data is scarce,we try to research on the productivity and fluid identification charts,on the other hand,we analyze and evaluate the “sweet section” combined with the total hydrocarbon and gamma curve,and summarize the criteria for interpretation as well.Finally,we work on the logging interpretation process based on the new models and criteria,and obtain the “sweet section”,and it’s promising to improve the petroleum reserves and decrease the oil gas miscalculation. |
