Research On The Design Of Garment Fabric Based On Non-Woven Material

With the progress of science and technology and the improvement of people’s aesthetic ideas,traditional textile materials hasn’t been the only choice for clothing designer,they began to search for a new artistic language to interpret their own art works of clothing.The change of materials has provided some new ideas for fashion design.Besides the traditional textiles,non-textile materials are frequently used in the design of clothing materials.Today,a variety of non-textile materials such as paper,glass,metal,plastics,feathers,rubber and so on have been widely used in clothing fabrics,giving people a fresh feeling.This paper mainly studies these aspects,like the overview and classification of non-textile materials,the development course in the fabric design,the design method,application characteristics as well as the development in the future of non-textile materials.Based on the classification and development of non-textile materials,this paper analyzes the causes of its prevalence from two aspects:social factors and psychological factors.This paper summarizes the scope of application and design method of non-textile materials,For the specific design method,it compares and analyzes through the method of examples to illustrate the uniqueness and innovative technology of non-textile materials,and elaborates the impact it has on the costumes from the texture,color,and style of non-textile materials and thus summarizes the characteristics and values the non-textile materials features.The use of non-textile materials in the fabric as a kind of creative idea,innovation and technology to provide more innovative crafts and design thought.Reasonable use can fully reflect the art characteristics of the material so as to realize the effect which the textile materials cannot achieves,and also adds new meaning and connotation to clothing design.
