Solution polymerized styene-butadiene rubber(SSBR)had the characteristics of wear resistance,low heat generation and low roll resistance,and had strong adjustable structure,it can meet the requirements of "green tires";Carbon black and silica fillers were easy to self assemble and reduce the surface energy,it had poor compatibility with rubber.It was of great practical significance to improve filler dispersion in rubber by filler modification.SSBR was used as the research object,aiming at the poor compatibility between rubber and filler,difficulty in dispersing the filler in the rubber during the processing,the carbon black and silica were modified to improve the compatibility between rubber and filler and to improve the dispersion of the filler in the rubber.The purpose was to expand the application of SSBR in the field of high performance tires.The main three parts were studied:(1)Study on the properties of modified carbon black reinforcing SSBR.The effects of type and amount of carbon black on the properties of SSBR before and after modification were studied by adding KH792 to the mixing of carbon black filled rubber.And the modified and unmodified carbon black filled rubber were compared,the results showed that: The mechanical strength of the rubber increased with the decrease of the particle size of carbon black,as the amount of carbon black increased,the tensile strength increased first and then decreased,the largest amount of 50 phr was used and the greater the Payne effect;The dispersion was improved,and the rubber-filler interaction was enhanced after the modification of carbon black,the mechanical and dynamic mechanical properties of SSBR can be improved by adding modified carbon black.(2)Study on the properties of modified silica reinforcing SSBR.Modification of silica filled rubber with modifier,the effects of the dosage,type,combination and heat treatment conditions of the modifier on the properties of SSBR were studied,the results showed that: The optimum comprehensive mechanical properties of Si69,KH550,PEG4000,NBR2907 and DPG are 4,8,4,9 and 4phr respectively;The comprehensive properties of the five modified silica systems were significantly superior to the non-modified system,the system of Si69 modified silica had the best dispersion and it had both wet and low roll resistance;The modifiers combination of Si69 and KH550 had synergistic effects,the temperature and time of heat treatment were suitable for 140℃ and 10 min respectively.(3)Study on the properties of modified carbon black/silica reinforcing SSBR.Carbon black and silica were modified respectively by in-situ grafting modification and pretreatment.The effects of the modified and un-modified carbon black / silica fillers on the performance of SSBR were researched and compared with carbon black /silica fillers before and after the modification,the results showed that: The optimum physical and mechanical properties of the compound in carbon black 30 phr and silica20phr;Compared with the un-modified fillers,adding modified carbon black / silica fillers can improve the comprehensive performance of SSBR.
