Friction welding is a new type of welding technology,which is different from the traditional welding.The metal did not reach the melting point,but achieve solid-phase connection in the thermoplastic state.China is one of the first countries to study friction welding in the world,which achieve the aluminum-copper friction welding in 1950 s.Because of the high quality,stable,high efficiency and dissimilar materials welding,it is widely used in the fields of aerospace,automobile manufacturing and oil exploration.Ordinary friction welding machine has single spindle,which is suitable for welding of simple structural parts,and can only complete a weld.For complex parts with two welds and phase requirements,especially when asked for assembly welding,it has many problems such as low efficiency and poor positioning accuracy.In this paper,to micro-car shaft pipe welding assembly for the processing object,according to the requirements of the phase accuracy and length accuracy,combined with process characteristics,a double spindle phase friction welding is designed.It can be completed two welds at the same time,to achieve assembly welding.According to the processing requirements of the shaft pipe welding assembly,the key technology of controlling the phase and length is studied,and the scheme of the double spindle phase friction welding machine is determined.For the phase accuracy,the spindle box,gearbox and other mechanical parts are designed,and the working principle is described in detail.After the calculation of each part of the welder,the machine is assembled as a whole with UG9.0.In order to ensure the length accuracy and the smooth progress of the welding,the scheme of dual spindle synchronous movement and axial displacement control is adopted.The hydraulic system and control system are designed,and the working principle of the hydraulic system and the working flow of the control system are described.In this paper,the finite element analysis of welder is carried out,including static analysis,modal analysis and multi-objective optimization based on Ansys Workbench software.Through the analysis,the strength and rigidity of key parts such as spindle box,gearbox,intermediate fixture,bed meet the working requirements,the lower order frequency is less than the main motor excitation frequency,there will be no resonance.The spindle box and the thrust cylinder base are further optimized in the case of safe redundancy,and achieve lightweight.
