| With the rapid development of WPC(wood-plastic composites)industry,WPC DIY(Do it yourself)floor’ market is also growing very fast.But there are a few shortcomings of this DIY floor.Such as product selection is not so much,the cost of fixing screw to the plastic base is too much high,the product appearance is not so beautiful and etc.According to the request of this market,plan to develop WPC DIY floor in totally new design.And base on the WPC matertials,use two new materials artificial turf and granite decorative plate to expand the selections.The new design need to reach these targets below: different kinds of DIY floor can be mixed at any position to install onto the ground together,the WPC DIY floor must use nail-free design,products with beautiful looking and low cost.As a finite element analysis software,Ansys software has a wide range of applications.By using this software,the user can analyze the performance of product design,find out the problems existing in the product design,analyze the rationality of the structure,and evaluate the cost of the manufacturing process.For some factory with high cost production trial,it can greatly reduce the risk of design and production costs,while at the same time quickly improve the product development cycle by using the Ansys software.In this thesis we use Pro/E to build the 3D models of the products,and use Ansys to simulate the real situation of how the DIY floor work.1,In the simulation of WPC panel,the panel bear vertical downward uniformly distributed 1000N’loads and transverse 300N’loads.The simulation result show that the maximum stress inside the WPC panel is only 0.73 MPa.The design of the WPC panel is qualified.In the simulation of WPC DIY floor design A,the total floor bear vertically downward uniformly distributed 5000N’loads and transverse 1500N’loads.The results show that the maximum stress of design A is located at the plastic base and reaches 117.98 MPa.Far from the yield strength of the PP plastic which data is only 30 MPa.The design A need to be improved.Design B is improved base on design A and do the simulation at same condition with design A.The results show that the maximum stress inside the desing B occurs on the WPC panel,and the data is 12.32 MPa.The yield strength of the WPC materials is 17.25 MPa,so the stress just only 71% of this value,the design B is qualified.2,Same parameters compare to the WPC DIY floor were settled in the simulation on only artificial turf DIY floor’s plastic base.In the simulation result we can find that the maximum stress is 17.76 MPa.The yield strength of the plastic base is 30 MPa.So the result only reach 71% to the limit.3,Do the same simulation on the stone DIY floor compare to the WPC DIY floor.The data show the maximum stress is only 3.28 MPa,happened at the plastic base.Much far away from the yield strength.4,Design the edge and corner block as the transition to the ground.Simulate the floor system assembled by three kinds of DIY floor and the edge and corner block.Offer the force to one of the DIY floors with this codition below:vertically downward uniformly distributed 5000N’loads and transverse 1500N’loads.Analyse the stress of the buckle which connect each DIY parts together to form the outdoor DIY deckings.And the result shows that the maximum stress in the system is 28 MPa,at the connecting buckle of the plastic base.This data is much higher than before but still within the safe strength.5,According to the qualified design we do the pre-production trial to get DIY floor samples.From the data of product manufacture,the assembly efficiency of WPC DIY floor improve a lot.The number increase from 150 pieces per worker per day to 500 pieces.And also the material usage of the WPC material is only 72% of the old design.Different kinds of DIY floor can mix together to form onto the ground.The gap of the whole DIY floor system is same about 5mm.The appearance of the DIY floor is beautiful and nice.6,Simulate the destruction of three kinds of DIY floors only by putting a linear increase load on the surface of the floor which is vertical downward and from 0 N to 100000 N.And we found the damage load of the WPC DIY floor is 52000 N,otherwise the artificial turf DIY floor is 7500 N and the stone DIY floor is 65000 N.7,Choose the artificial turf DIY floor to do the destructive test with similar codition compared to the destructive simulation.The test result shows the plastic base starting to yield when the load reach at 5830 N.This test result is relatively closer to the results of the destruction simulation. |
