High pressure water jet radial drilling technology(HPWJRDT)is a new method has distinctive technical features,which was also called ultra-short radius radial drilling technology(URRS),was developed in recent years,has broad potential applications in the development of shale gas,coalbed methane and other unconventional oil and gas exploration.Researches on this has been a hot issue in oil and gas development fields.However,the understanding on underground movement and buckling of the water jet hose used by this technology is not clear,it is difficult to use existing models to analysis hose mechanical friction,these problems related to progress of technical difficulties such as the length of the horizontal wellbore and hose extending pre-installed of the water jet hose in the radial direction.Based on string mechanics,theoretical mechanics,material mechanics and tribology,according to the state of motion of hose in the underground,this paper studied on distribution state and stress analysis of flexible string which was used in high pressure water jet radial drilling technology.This paper also did theoretical analysis and research on friction characteristics of water jet hose by combination of theoretical and experimental.Applicate continuum mechanics,basic theory of finite deformation and super-elastic theory,mechanics analysis of wire braided hose,analysis the relationship between the hose deformation and stress distribution and internal pressure,analysis the actors of the mechanical properties of the hose;Studied on the water jet hose critical buckling load of the vertical section in the tilt,get the critical buckling load of hose.Calculate contact load of hose with wall in the form of different flexion(no buckling-the Drill-helical buckling);Stress analysis of hose through the diverter and horizontal section,respectively,calculate friction of hose,explore the impact of various factors section of friction,propose that the hose pressure is the main factor of friction;Experimental test friction of water jet hose through steering,and friction will be measured as a known quantity,then calculate the elastic modulus of hose,preliminary draw variation of the elastic modulus with pressure of hose;Analysis friction’s Impact of high pressure water jet hose extending capacity,study on the relationship between the axial force and extension hose length.Hose friction calculation model can be used to calculate the friction and buckling analysis,internal pressure of hose significantly affected elastic modulus,hose friction are the key factors of hose extending capacity,These results may provide technical support for the study of extend ability of the water jet hose and preinstalled length designed of hose.
