According to the market survey feedback in recent years and the three package of our company's crawler,it shows that steel wire as the skeleton layer and main bearing part of track play a key role in the track application process.The bond between steel wire and rubber is related to the life of the entire track.The experimental part mainly discussed the influence of the additives commonly used in the formulation on the type and amount of sulfur,the Mooney viscosity,the physical properties,the bonding strength,and the performance after hygrothermal aging,and made the following test conclusions:This article first studied the effect of zinc oxide on the adhesive properties of rubber and copper-plated steel wire.It was found that the amount of zinc oxide has a great influence on the adhesive properties.Zinc oxide can inhibit the growth of the copper sulfide layer at the bonding interface.The best adhesion performance is achieved at 5-6 parts,while the best adhesion retention after damp heat aging.2.The study of different kinds of resorcinols shows that PN759 and A250 have better processability and adhesion properties.3.By studying the effect of the type and amount of sulfur on the adhesive properties of rubber and steel wire,it was found that insoluble sulfur plays a key role in the adhesion of copper-plated steel wire.When the amount of sulfur is 5-6 parts,with the increase of the amount of sulfur,the strength of the rubber material decreases,and the adhesive performance of rubber and steel wire first increases and then decreases with the increase of the amount of sulfur.Accelerator CZ has a long scorch time,a slightly faster cure rate,the CZ dosage of 1.2,and sulfur/promoter of more than 4 is beneficial to bonding.4.By studying the effect of MgO addition on the adhesive properties of rubber and steel wire,the results show that with the increase of MgO content,the vulcanization speed of the rubber material becomes faster.The scorch time becomes shorter and the Mooney viscosity decreases.The addition of Mgo can improve the adhesive properties before and after aging of the rubber compound.Considering comprehensively,when the amount of MgO is 1-2 parts,the adhesive performance and the rubber material is good.
