Good light environment is the important guarantee of reducing the accident occurrence and protecting people's vision and personals security.The illumination for underground coal mine production depends on artificial illumination totally.The luminous environment is bad and miners are difficult to observe the surrounding abnormalities,which results in the frequent occurrence of accident.Therefore,it is significant to study the luminous environment of fully mechanized face.This paper studies the underground coal mine illumination from human S-O-R safety behavior pattern and tunnel illumination simulation by taking illuminance as the research factor.Firstly,the paper studies the people in identifying the instrument for guard under different local lighting illuminance from average watch time and number of fixation point by using eye movement tracking technology.Secondly,the paper studied people's reaction time and operation reliability under different illuminnace from average reaction time and times of fault by applying Shulte scale.At last,the paper simulates the lighting and analyzes the illuminnace of the coal mine conveyance tunnel by using the illumination computation software DIALux.The research results indicate that:(1)the illuminance affects human visual identity,vision reaction time and operation reliability significantly.The impact law conforms to the boundary decreasing effect.When it exceeds 60 Lx,the change was not significant any longer.(2)Dizzy light pollution interrupts human vision identity and judgment,and thus results in the increasing of reaction time and decreasing of operation reliability.(3)The illuminance of local lighting in working face shall be kept above 70 Lx as well as avoiding the generation of dizzy light.Thus,it is good for enhancing human vision identity,observing and identifying unsafe factor in surroundings and guaranteeing working safety of workers.(4)For tunnel lighting,using small power lamp with the distributed arrangement will gain better lighting effect than using big power lamp when the total light flux is definite.Adjusting the angle of inclination of lamp toward the center of road according to the installation position of lamp can increase the luminance in the middle of tunnel,reduce the luminance on the edge and enhance the light source utilization.(5)Powerful modeling and computation function of DIALux can break through the tradition of relying on experience or complicated formula computation,make rational layout and optimization of the underground coal mine lighting.Through analyzing the impact of local lighting illuminance in the underground dark environment of mine coal on human S-O-R behavior pattern,the paper provides rational illuminance range for underground lighting design,which is significant on maintaining the life of miners and national property.Meanwhile,this study firstly applied DIALux to the simulation of illumination in underground coal mines,demonstrated its adaptability,broke the tradition of merely depending on experience or complicated formula for computation,and provided a modeling approach to realize the simulation of illumination in coal mine tunnels.
