With the development of China's economic and social,building a resource –conserving and environment-friendly society is the general trend of social development today.Energy conservation and emissions reduction is a top priority for the coal-fired power units as our own enterprises.A power plant energy saving pressure is facing more and more large,and the power plant should more actively explore effective ways of energy saving.Because fan is no load or light load running and large energy loss on the baffle and valve,so fan power consumption is very large.Fan energy-saving transform is very urgent.With the development of high voltage frequency conversion technology and the improvement of reliability,induced draft fan frequency conversion reform has important significance for the economic operation of coal-fired power plants.The implementation of the induced draft fan frequency conversion project can reduce the plant power consumption,and according to the unit 70% load rate,power savings is about 30%.After frequency conversion transformation,the investment costs can be recovered about two years.At the same time,the reform can also solve the perennial problem about the low efficiency,high failure rate,poor regulating quality of the fan.The paper begin from the project background and looking forward to solve the problems,elaborate the development of energy-saving technologies and research status,analyze the necessity and feasibility of the project using the method of theory with practice,focused research the content about type selection,project plan,implementation difficulties and operation maintenance.Finally,the power saving test and the reliability about the frequency converter of the project are discussed and analysed,and the project is summaried and expected.the research about energy-saving reform of the induced draft fan solve the problems such as serious energy consumption,inefficient operation,system instability for induced draft fan in a power company.The stable and reliable operation of the he fan system are ensured by redundancy configuration,technical innovation,strengthen management and other means in technology.And has a very good reference for the companies needing energy-saving reform of the induced draft fan l,and has the very high popularization value.
