Gas wave refrigerator is a kind of new equipments of refrigeration which can expanse refrigeration using the pressure of the gas. It has many advantages, like high cooling efficiency, operating with liquid. Gas wave refrigerator have a wide range of applications in the fields of natural gas dehydration purification, liquid hydrocarbon recovery and chemical tail gas recycling, and other fields.The internal flow of rotary gas wave refrigerator is relatively complex. oscillating tube as the core part of the gas wave refrigerator refrigeration, the change of the shape and structure will have a big impact on the efficiency of the whole machine. Common structures of the oscillation tube have two types of tube-section and circular cross-section oscillations tube. In this paper, we researched in detail from two aspects of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, the different shapes and structures of the oscillating tube and the whole machine. The main work is as follows:(1) Through the theory of gas dynamics, the paper analyses the emergence and development of the oscillation tube wave. The related formula of shock wave motion was deduced.The paper also draw the ideal wave figure of the internal wave motion in the gas wave refrigerator.(2) The three-dimensional emanation model of the single oscillator tube had been established. The paper had carried on the simulation calculation. Using the calculation results we analyzed the causes of its injected process losses in the injected gas of three phases. The simulation shows that, the gradually open phase of the injected process losses is the largest, the gradually open phase of the incidence losses is the second, the connection phase is the least, in the three stages of the incident.(3) Established the whole machine 3 d model of the rotary gas wave refrigerator,and has carried on the simulation calculation. We study the running of the whole machine using the calculation result, the flow in the tube of different structure oscillation tubes, the results show that in the same conditions, the intensity in the tube of the injected process wave of the rectangular oscillating tube is higher. The running distance of the contacting surface is deeper. The heating effect of the injected process fresh air to circulating gas in pipe is better. We study the influence of the different oscillation tube structure on the refrigeration efficiency of the gas wave refrigerator. The results show that on the same conditions, using rectangular oscillating tube rotary gas wave refrigerator has the larger injected process amount of gas, the smaller gas leakage rate and the higher efficiency.(4) Using the three-dimensional emanation model of the single oscillator tube,the paper analyzed the incidence losses for the different structures of the oscillation tube.The simulation shows that the two kinds of oscillation tubes which have the same cross-sectional area, the circular tube has a bigger injected process loss. The reason is that the circular tube and the nozzle have a sudden enlargement in size on the height direction. It will produce strong vortex in the sudden enlargement, which causes the energy loss and the mixing of hot and cold air.
