This article was mainly about the windbreak technology and property which used in YingKou harbor dock A. The windbreak was used for harbor environment protecting as important anti-wind and anti-dust equipment. Bulk cargo of YingKou harbor was used to store bulk material. The dust pollution will be generated by the natural environment. So, it was the main target and also the main reason of this article to restrain the dust pollution in a setup period effective near the bulk cargo.In this article, the windbreak position design, the structure selection of windbreak, the design of the structure, windbreak FEA simulate analysis and anti-dust effect analysis of the windbreak were done. According the reach, the final plan was: the windbreak was set to squire position, the length of frame was 6m, metal butterfly shape windbreak plate was used. The anti-wind net was 500 m length, 200 m wide, 15 m high and the opening rate of the windbreak was 40.7%. The bulk material was heap up in a 140 m x 140 m dimension. 3D model was built with Solidworks software according to the design. Based on the 3D model, by coupling calculate with Solidworks Flow Simulation model and Solidworks Simulation model, the FEA model analysis of the butterfly shape metal windbreak was done. The conclusion was that the max stress was less than 60 Mpa and the max deformation was les then 5mm under the max load of 15m/S wind speed. That means this design could afford the front wind effectively. By flow field analysis of the bulk dock, the wind speed of the material heap and out part of windbreak was decreased to a good level. The wind speed decreased from 45m/S to 3m/S and the raise dust was restrained effectively.Finally, the design of YingKou harbor dock A windbreak was finished and this plan was reasonable testing by the flow field analysis with Solidworks Flow Simulation of Solidwroks software.
