Electric Spring(ES)is a distributed voltage regulator,which can effectively relieve intermittent and instability problems appeared in distributed power generation system,however,it is easy to introduce harmonics with the current control mode and response time will be long,this impact on the effect of Electric Spring adjustment seriously.In this paper,an optimal PI voltage controller is designed to improve the stability and robustness,based on simplex method(SPX),using integral time square error(ITSE)of optimized object function to adjust and optimize the parameters of the PI controller,make the dynamic response effect of ES better.Firstly,on the basis of a large amount of literature,study deep into the model and operating characteristics of ES can help design the controller of ES.On the basis of this,the design and deficiency of the existing electric spring controller are discussed.The simulation of the PR controller of the ES in Matlab/Simulink environment shows that the traditional controller has slow response and poor stability.Considering that the power spring belongs to the distributed voltage regulator,it needs strong adaptability and robustness,so this paper designs the optimal proportional integral controller for the electric spring.In order to compare the control effect,a fuzzy PI controller with good static and dynamic performance is designed.The simulation results show that the optimal proportional integral controller is more effective.Finally,in order to verify that the power spring based on the optimal proportional integral controller can be applied to the new energy generation system,a photovoltaic grid-connected model is built in the Matlab/Simulink environment.The simulation results show that this kind of electric spring has good static and dynamic performance,which can alleviate the power fluctuation problem in the new energy generation system.
