In this paper,the working characteristics of a hydrogen oxygen rocket engine control are simulated.The thrust adjustment of the engine is realized by the hydrogen and oxygen regulating valve arranged at the inlet of the gas generator.By adjusting the opening degree of the regulating valve,changing the hydrogen and oxygen turbine flow to control the output power of the turbine pump,the engine thrust regulating target is realized.Therefore,it is very important to optimize the flow characteristics of the valve by simulating the working characteristics of the hydrogen and oxygen regulating valves.As a pipe regulator element,the first design requirement of regulating valve is the pressure drop conditions,and the adjustment characteristics should be stable and reliable.This paper proves that the design scheme is effective through the analysis of regulating valve working characteristics,and select 60%,80%,100%,105%,110% working condition as the analysis object.In the case of each working condition,the working parameters meet the requirements.There is a linear relationship between the working parameters and the valve working conditions.The flow resistance of the regulating valve decreases with the increase of working conditions.The flow characteristics of hydrogen-valve is better than oxygen-valve.And cavitations won't happen to either of the valves.In this paper,the optimal design of oxygen-valve has been carried out from two aspects.On the one hand it's to reduce the number of regulating windows,on the other hand to change the shape and the size of the regulating windows.The performance of the regulating valve has been greatly improved by the two optimal design schemes.By changing the structure of the eight windows to four windows,it is concluded that the lager area of a single window,the smaller energy loss in the case of the same total area.By adjusting the windows area and the circulation length of the windows to determine the shape and size of the trapezoidal window,the regulating characteristic curve of the regulating oxygen-valve is optimized,which is more favorable for the control of the regulating valve.And the motor angle was redistributed.
