Combining with the research projects about the sand removal vehicle research project of railway track from Tie San Ju transportation company,this thesis develops a small sand removal device for railway on the basis of the environment and the characteristics of sand,thus realizing the function of sand collecting and desilting.The sand removal device for railway track works to be efficient and convenient,to reduce the burden on the staff and ensure the smooth running of railway track.The main contents of this dissertation are as follows:(1)As the bad situation of the railway track in desert area in China,the research and development of sand removing device for railway track is necessary.The main characteristics of sand are analyzed in this part,then,the packing density,particle density and other parameters are determined.And the sand accumulation angle was measured.Then it used the discrete element simulation software EDEM to simulate the experiment of sand accumulation angle.Thereby,orthogonal experiment was used to calibrate the best contact parameters of sand grains.(2)Through the design requirements determined by field visits and discussions with the users,the overall scheme of the sand removing device was designed.(3)The sand collecting system of sand removing device was preliminarily designed.After then,a reduced model was made to verify the feasibility of the program,on the basis of feasibility,then the preliminary design of the sand collector was applied to the prototype.According to the problems that the prototype model machine showed,the discrete element simulation software EDEM was used to optimize the sand collecting shovel,including the shape of sand collecting shovel,central angle of fixed shovel,the radius of the arc at the end of the sand collecting shovel,the shape design of the top shell,etc.Finally,the power of the sand collecting system was calculated to determine the hydraulic motor.(4)MATLAB software was used to analyze the running track of the blade to determine the maximum amount of sand thrown per blade.And combined with the actual situation of the sand removal device,the plate type desilting scheme was preliminarily designed.Then according to the capacity of desilting system,the minimum velocity of desilting was determined.Then the principle of turnover plate desilting are introduced,and the matching relation between frequency and amplitude is analyzed by MATLAB.Finally,using the discrete element simulation software EDEM to analyze factors of desilting process and its influencing factors,thus providing the reference for the subsequent optimization of desilting device.
