Main research and application achievements of aluminum alloy were shown in this paper,performance of domestic aluminum alloy 6061-T6 was studied,combined with engineering practice of aluminum alloy,stress condition of aluminum alloy template and aluminum alloy pedestrian bridge were analyzed.Material performance:9 specimens from different parts of aluminum alloy plate were taken for uniaxial tension experiment,stress-strain curves of domestic aluminum alloy 6061-T6 were achieved.3 important classical constitutive relations were introduced and explained in detail,measured data were fitted based on 3 classical constitutive relations,and fitting errors were compared with the 3 constitutive models.Solid finite element model based on different constitutive relations were established and uniaxial tension experiment were stimulated by finite element software ANSYS,experiment results based on different constitutive relations were compared,constitutive relations which was applicable for 6061-T6 was achieved.Aluminum alloy templates:two different sections of aluminum alloy extruded profiles which were welded with different number of stiffeners(a total of 6 groups of templates with the same size)were taken for experimental study of bearing capacity.The experimental results show that,aluminum alloy templates appeared overall buckling under the uniformly distributed load,and stress concentration phenomenon was appeared around hole.Load displacement curves of experiment specimens were fitted,ANSYS finite element software were used to establish solid model for numerical analysis,load displacement curves between finite element model and experiment results were compared,and validity and rationality of experimental results were verified,fitting curve equation was optimized,final curve fitting equation and parameter calculation proposed formula were put forward.Bridge Engineering:a aluminum alloy pedestrian bridge was selected as research object,MIDAS finite element software was used to establish its stress analysis model,stress distribution,deformation characteristics,vibration frequencies of aluminum alloy pedestrian bridge were calculated,structural safety of aluminum alloy pedestrian bridge was verified,static load and dynamic load experiments of aluminum alloy pedestrian bridge were carried out,experiment results and finite element calculation results were compared to verify rationality of finite element.Joint connection of bridges:bolt connection of chord connecting link was taken as an example,related concepts of Chinese and European standard for Aluminum Alloy bolt connection and calculation formula of chord section were shown,section bearing capacity of chord were checked,the results show that stress of bolt joint was safe.Stainless steel bolts connection joint with greater force were analyzed,finite element model was established by ANSYS,the resluts show that,under unfavorable design load condition,stress of bolt rod and aluminum alloy bolt hole was small,material was still in elastic stage,deformation was small,bolt was not failure,the method of node design with steel structure was conservative and uneconomical.
