| Objective:To observe the effect of moxibustion on hyperlipdemia and atherosclerosis as well as explore the mechanism of warming moxibustion in treatment of atherosclerosis.Methods:All the other groups except the normal group were established by high-cholesterol diet for10weeks and immunoreactive-injury technical.40male Japanese big ear white rabbit were randomly divided into4groups, the normal group, model group, moxibustion group, medication group. Then4weeks’treatment started from the beginning of the11th week with all the rabbits fed with normal feed. Moxibustion group were treated by moxa roll10minutes everyday continuing for4weeks, while medication group take lovastatin (3.6mg/kg) once a day. sCD40L was tested by ELISH, CD40L、NF-κB were measured by immunohistochemical.Results:the content of sCD40L of moxibustion group were reduced (P<0.05), the expression of the CD40L were decreased (P<0.05), NF-κB of moxibustion group and medication group were lower than they were in model group, which had significant difference in stastic (P＜0.001), whereas there was no significant difference between moxibustion group and medication group (P>0.05)Conclusion:warming moxibustion can treat athersclerosis by decreasing the expression of CD40L axis. |
