The Related Factors Which Influenced The Success Rate Of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Objective:To analyze the related factors which influenced the success rate of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the past four years in our Emergency Department, and to explore how to efficiently improve the integrate control ability of pre-hospital success rate of CPR and the common emergency diseases’prevention and cure in local area. Methods: Retrospective analysis of the CPR data in our Emergency Center from January 2010 to December 2013, including disease categories, CPR related time and CPR success rate. Results:The number Of CPR patients amounted to 340 and increased year by year in the past four years(being 90、75、83、92 respectively). At the disease category, the cardiovascular diseases CPR case amount stand first(being 108), the rest of the order are the unknown cause、severe trauma、various types of acute poisoning、diseases of the nervous system、respiratory system disease、digestive system disease and malignant tumor in the late. The total number of success CPR was 74, success rate was 21.76%, the CPR success rate was higher in CA patients caused by medicine and pesticides intoxication, being 58.33% and 50% respectively, otherwise is malignant tumor in the late and severe trauma. As a whole, the starting time of CPR decreased year by year in the past four years, being(15.89±9.76)、(14.40±9.51)、(13.37±9.47)、(12.39±9.12)min respectively, but the CPR success rate increased, the success rate in the year of 2013 was 32.97%. The total number of CA patients which were given the defibrillation was 217,a single defibrillation was 83,multiple defibrillation was 134, the CPR success rate were 34.94% and 19.40% respectively. There was significant difference in cause of disease、the starting time of CPR and the number of defibrillation. Conclusion:CA basic causes、the time from cardiac arrest to start CPR、defibrillation are the significantly related factors which influenced the success rate of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, we should (1) Popularization of knowledge on first aid and CPR among social key population can efficiently raise the CPR success rate.(2)The key to further raise the CPR success rate is to strengthen the establishment of the Emergency Department, to introduce advanced CPR device, to organize efficient CPR team,and to try multiple defibrillation.
