Objectives:To estimate the diagnosis value of urine TIMP-2*IGFBP-7 in AKI through relative reports’ meta analysis.Methods:Searching Pubmed, Elsevier science Direct Database, EMBASE, SpringerLink, Cochrane Library, Wanfang database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, VIP database and website ClinicalTrials.gov. Using "tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 2/TIMP-2, insulin-like growth factor binding protein 7/IGFBP-7, acute kidney injury/AKI, acute renal failure/ARF" as keywords, corresponding Chinese words used when searching Chinese database. Setting search time from the beginning of database built to March 20,2015,and no limitation for language. The inclusion and exclusion criteria were used to filter studies. Meta-Disc 1.4 software, Review Manager 5.2 software and STATA 12.0 software were used to analysis.Results:753 patients were included in 6 reports filtered by the inclusion and exclusion criteria, in which 204 patients with AKI and 549 patients without AKI. The summary diagnostic value of urine TIMP-2*IGFBP-7 in AKI were sensitivity 0.858(0.802,0.903),specificity 0.548(0.506, 0.590),positive likelihood ratio 2.096(1.857,2.365),negative likelihood ratio 0.235(0.166,0.332),diagnostic odds ratio 11.31(6.9-18.53),area under the receiver-operating curve 0.8389.Subgroup analysis showed a sensitivity 0.778(0.664,0.867),specificity 0.808(0.726,0.874), diagnostic odds ratio 18.859(8.396,42.362), area under the receiver-operating curve 0.8823 in cardiac surgery subgroup.Conclusion:Urine TIMP-2*IGFBP-7 has a moderate diagnostic accuracy in AKI,especially with a high diagnostic accuracy in cardiac surgery.
