Recent Progress And Prospects Of Transforaminal Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy For Lumbar Disc Herniation

Transforaminal percutaneous endoscopic lumber discectomy(TF-PELD)is a minimally invasive treatment for lumbar disc herniation, which has developed very fast in recent years. Compared with open discectomy, TF-PELD,which could achieve as good clinical results as in traditional decompression procedures, had the advantages of lesser trauma, slight pain, rapid recovery and so on. This article will give brief introduction on the development of TF-PELD, procedure, indications, complications clinical effects and so on.
