| Object:To research the patients’ gender, age, marital status, educational level, occupation structure, complications and other characteristics, who are suffering from early syphilis, in the first affiliated hospital of Nanchang University. To discuss the correlations of skin lesions’ PCR and the initial TRUST degree results, then compare positive rate with TPPA and TRUST tests, in order to evaluate the infectivity of the skin lesions by means of quantitative PCR.Method:103 patients suffering from early syphilis were collected from October 2014 to April 2016. Statistics, analysis and summary the characteristics, laboratory tests and clinical performances ect. The tissue fluid in patients’ skin lesions were tested with the real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR.Meanwhile, test serum with TPPA and TRUST.Their correlation were analysised and discussed.Results:1.Of 103 cases, male and female patients are 63(61.17%)and 40(38.83%).The ratio of men and women is 1.575:1.2.Younger than 20 are 1(0.97%),21 to 35-year-old are 51(49.51%),36 to 50 years old are 31(30.10%),51 to 65 years old are 13(12.62%), older than 65 years old are 7(6.80%), male and female of all ages are statistically different.3.Married are 82 cases(79.61%), unmarried are 16 cases, divorced are 5 cases(4.85%).80 cases (77.67%) admitted to experience unmarried feculent sexual behavior.4.20 cases (19.41%) concomitant with other sexually transmitted diseases at the same time.5.Clinical manifestations vary from period to early syphilis.6.The positive rate of PCR、TPPA and TRUST are different.7.TRUST degrees of phase I and phase II are statistically different.8. The correlation exists between PCR and TRUST degrees.Conclusion:1.Males are more than females with early syphilis.2.High incidence of early syphilis patients are aged 21 to 35 year-Old.3. Most infected channels are extra-marital sexual contact.4. The main composition is the lower-income groups.5. Syphilis can associated with other sexually transmitted diseases at the same time.6. Syphilis has different clinical performances.Because of the rash anodyne, syphyilis often overlooked by patients and doctors, what leads to misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.7. The joint application of PCR and serological tests should be strengthened to reduce missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis.8. The period is associated with the initial TRUST degree drops. Phase Ⅱ is higher than phase I.9. PCR and TRUST degrees are positively correlated for primary syphilis, however, for secondary syphilis is negative correlated.10. PCR detection in syphilis without intervention can help assess the infectiousness of skin lesions. |
