Unintentional injuries patterns were investigated by author in selected school during June,2013 to June,2014, including road traffic injury, poisoning, falling injury, etc, in total 13 kinds of unintentional injury. The psychological sub-health statuses were assessed by using the Multidimensional Sub-health Questionnaire of Adolescents (MSQA) in the adolescent sub-health assessment questionnaire. Epidata 3.02 software is used to establish a database. The data were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 software. Descriptive statistics was used to describe the epidemiological characteristics of unintentional injury and psychological sub-health status. Chi-square test was used to compare the difference between group. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis method was conducted to explore the relationship between unintentional injury and psychological sub-health status.ResultThe 1354 girls in the school,539 of them were in the accident in the year. The total injury incidence rate was 39.8%(539/1354). There was no significant difference in the unintentional injury incidence of the registered permanent residence, the number of children, the father’s education level, mother’s education level, the number of friends, and learning performance of the accident. But there was significant difference in the incidence of unintentional injury in different grades and family economic situation. The detection rates of different types of accidental injuries were Road traffic injury 5.5%(74/1 354), Poisoning 1.7%(23/1 354), falling injury 13.7%(185/1 354), burning and scalding 9.9%(134/1 354), crushing injury 6.1%(83/1 354), straining 17.8%(241/1 354), cutting injury 12.3%(166/1 354), animal biting 6.8%(92/1 354), drowning 1.8%(24/1 354), unintentional asphyxia 0.3%(4/1 354), electric shocking 3.8%(52/1 354), consumer goods damaging 3.1%(42/1 354), medical malpractice 0.7%(9/1 354). The rate of straining is the highest 17.8%(241/1354).The 1354 girls in the school, the psychological sub-health status incidence rate was 9.6%(130/1354). There was no significant difference in the psychological sub-health status incidence of different grades the registered permanent residence, the number of children, mother’s education level, the number of friends and family economic situation. But there was significant difference in the incidence of the father’s education level.Multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that the incidence of mental sub-health status was significantly associated with the occurrence of total unintentional injury (OR= 1.71,95%C/= 1.18-2.49, P< 0.01). At the same time, it was associated with the occurrence of crushing injury (OR= 1.89,95%C/=1.18~3.03, P<0.01) and dropping injury (OR= 1.85,95%CI= 1.17~2.92, P< 0.01).ConclusionThe detection rate of girl accidental injury in Fuyang vocational and technical college is higher. Sprain, fall injury, incised wound, burn, as well as corrosive injury become the top 5 accidental injuries. There is a positive correlation between psychological sub-health state and the occurrence of girl total accidental injury as well as parts of injury types. A further study shall be made to find how the psychological health prevents accidental injuries.
