According to the report,in China,the rate of early malocclusion deformity for permanent teeth is as high as 72.9%.With the demand of health and beautiful in modern people’s life is increasing day by day,more and more people are looking for orthodontic treatments.Malocclusion deformity is not only affecting the development on the surface of the jaw,oral health,oral functions and appearance,can even causes the patient’s psychological and mental disordered.Especially in patients with mandibular deviation is already seriously affect the appearance,along with the age growth,deformity even deepening characteristics.Therefore,parents and patients become very urgent in checking mentality.In recent years,scholars have found a correlation between mandible and vertebrae bending,well the development of cervical vertebra and mandibular has a direct impact to mandibular asymmetry deformity,but we have not seen the related reports with the lower jaw and cervical vertebra.Objective: By comparing the different structure of mandibular asymmetry deformity in patients with cervical vertebrae posture and its deviation degree,exploring the structure of mandibular asymmetry deformity of patients with mandibular relationship with cervical vertebra,so as to provide the basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment related deformities and references.Methods:1 Randomly selected 124 cases of patients from our hospital,with range from 20 to 35 years old in the cases of 54 men and 70 women,the average of age is 27.52 years old.According to the vertical distance from chin point to the center line of craniofacial were belong to the normal group for 45 cases(chin point is located in the middle route of the craniofacial within 2 mm),40 cases for left jaw group(chin point is located in the middle route of the craniofacial more than 2 mm on the left side)and 39 cases for right jaw group(chin point is located in the middle route of the craniofacial more than 2 mm on the right side).2 The experiment content is under the full consent of all the research objects.Take the Posteroanterior cephalogram under the natural head position,the received the X ray image will be imported to the computer processing work end and stored with standard of Dicom 3.0 medical digital image communication.Apply Winceph8.0 cephalometry Software reads the stored image data,locate points on image then do the calculation.3 According to the needs and combined with the previous studies,to measure and calculate mandibular and structure of the cervical spine for the research objects,this study selected 12 measuring points,2 measuring lines,12 measuring index and the 4 calculation index.For measuring points: 1)the Crista Galli(CG),2)the Orbital-Spheno on the left(LOS),3)the Orbital-Spheno on the right(ROS),4)on the left side of the mandibular condyle DCS vertices(LCo),5)on the right side of mandibular condyle DCS vertices(RCo),6)the gonion on the left(LGo),7)the gonion on the right(RGo),8)the menton(Me)and 9)the third Cervical spine(C3),10)the fourth Cervical spine(C4),11)the fifth Cervical spine(C5),12)the sixth Cervical spine(C6).For measuring lines: 1)the Middle route of the craniofacial(Middle Line)and 2)mental horizon(Chin Horizontal Line);For measuring index: 1)the vertical distance of LCo to ML(LCo~ML),2)the RCo to ML vertical distance(RCo~ML),3)LGo to ML vertical distance(LGo~ML),4)RGo to ML vertical distance(RGo~ML),5)LCo to CHL vertical distance(LCo~CHL),6)RCo to CHL vertical distance(RCo~CHL),7)LGo to CHL vertical distance(LGo~CHL)and 8)RGo to CHL vertical distance(RGo~CHL),9)C3 to ML vertical distance(C3~ML),10)C4 to ML vertical distance(C4~ML),11)C5 to ML vertical distance(C5~ML),12)C6 to ML vertical distance(C6~ML);For calculating index: 1)LCo to ML vertical distance of the absolute value of the vertical distance with the RCo to ML(Co~ML),2)the difference between the LGo to ML vertical distance of the absolute value of the vertical distance and RGo to ML(Go~ML),3)the difference between the LCo to CHL vertical distance of the absolute value of the vertical distance with the RCo to CHL(Co~CHL)and 4)the difference between the LGo to vertical distance and RGo CHL to CHL the difference of the absolute value of the vertical distance(Go to CHL)(see figure 1).Coronal in bilateral mandibular condyloid process and the gonion and the distance to the craniofacial middle line deviation degree of the middle route of the craniofacial measurement of cervical vertebra,left jaw were compared between group,the right jaw group and normal group the difference of mandibular structure and cervical vertebrae posture and structure of mandibular asymmetry deformity and the correlation between abnormal posture of cervical vertebrae.4 Using Statistical Analysis Software SPSS21.0 to analyze and process the data.Construct the corresponding database in quantitative form for setting up the cases,by using the Single factor analysis of variance,the chi-square calculation method to verify and the related Pearson coeficient method to analyze the corresponded database,P < 0.05,for the difference was statistically significant;P > 0.05,for there was no statistically significant difference.Results: 1 With Me~ML,Go~ML,Co~CHL and C4~ML in the left and right jaw group both have significant difference with in the normal jaw group(0.00,0.00,0.00,0.00);With Co~ML and Co~CHL in the left jaw group have significant difference with in the normal jaw group(0.00,0.00);With C3 ~ ML,C5 ~ ML and C6 ~ ML in the right jaw group have significant difference with in the normal jaw group(0.00,0.02,0.03);With Co ~ ML and Co~CHL in the left jaw group have significant difference with in the right jaw group(0.00,0.00).1.1 Compared with normal jaw group,left and right jaw groups in mandibular structure deviation degree have significant difference with the degree of the cervical spine deflection;1.2 Compared with normal jaw group,the mandibular structure deviation degree in left jaw group is higher than in right jaw group;1.3 Compared with normal jaw group,the degree of cervical lateral bending in right jaw group is higher than in left jaw group.2 Apply Pearson correlation coefficient analysis,to analyze the related data between the distance from the left jaw group within the menton to the center line of craniofacial and the mandibular deviation,the degree of cervical skewed,it is concluded that the Me~ML and Co~ML,Go~ML,Co~CHL,Go~CHL,C3~ML,C4~ML,C5~ML and C6~ML have highly correlation and P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Among them,the Me~ML and Co~ML are negative correlation(-0.632);Me~ML and Go~ML,Co~CHL,Go~CHL,C3~ML,C4~ML,C5~ML and C6~ML are positive correlation(0.644,0.632,0.442,0.452,0.441,0.452,0.441).3 Apply Pearson correlation coefficient analysis,to analyze the related data between the distance from the right jaw group within the menton to the center line of craniofacial and the mandibular deviation,the degree of cervical skewed,it is concluded that the Me~ML and Co~ML,Go~ML,Co~CHL,Go~CHL,C3~ML,C4~ML,C5~ML and C6~ML have highly correlation and P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Among them,the Me~ML and Co~ML are negative correlation(-0.644);Me~ML and Go~ML,Co~CHL,Go~CHL,C3~ML,C4~ML,C5~ML and C6~ML are positive correlation(0.734,0.815,0.740,0.815,0.740,0.528,0.463).By the above results we can get on the left jaw and right jaw group,the severity of the structure of mandibular asymmetry deformity and deflection for are positively related to the degree of cervical spine,and mandibular exacerbated structural defleced with the deflection of the cervical spine.Conclusions:1 Patients with structure of mandibular asymmetry deformity had higher mandibular deviation degree and deflection degree of cervical spine than patients without deviation.2 Within the structure of mandibular asymmetry deformity patients,the extent degree level to the left side is higher than the right side of jaw,the extend degree level to the right side is higher than the left side of cervical spine.3 The structure of the mandibular asymmetry deformity in patients with mandibular deviation and deviation exists in positive correlation of cervical vertebra,mandibular structure deflected with the deflection of the cervical spine.4 It is an efficient method to test the deflection between the structures characterizes of mandibular asymmetry deformity and cervical vertebra inclination by taking posteroanterior under natural head posture.
