The Clinical Observationand Influence Of Serum IL-4 With Back-shu Point Embedding Therapyon Asthma Patient

Objective:Through the observation with back-shu point embedding therapy on asthma patient with effect on clinical symptoms,attack times and IL-4,to study the clinical effect of this therapy on bronchial asthma and its related mechanism.Method: According to the unified standard,62 asthma patients were divided into treatment group and control group by random method.Each group was 31 cases.The cases of control group received oral aminophylline sustained-release tablets,the cases of treatment group received oral aminopylline sustained-release tablets and back-shu point embedding therapy.3 months for a course of treatment.Two groups were treated for a course of treatment.Before and after treatment,two groups of patients were observed the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome score and serum IL-4level.Counting the times of asthma attack after 3 months follow-up.Compared the clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results: Actually 60 cases were completed in this study,including 30 cases in the treatment group and 30 cases in the control group.1.After the treatment was completed in two groups,the total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group each were 93.33% and 80.00%.Comparing the curative effect of the two groups,the difference was very significant(P < 0.01),the curative effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.2.The change of observation index: The two groups of patients after treatment,TCM syndrome score and serum IL-4 levels were significantly lower than before treatment(P < 0.01),It showed that the two treatments could significantly improve the symptoms and signs of asthma patients and reduce the level of serum IL-4.Compared with the two groups after treatment,TCM syndrome score and level of IL-4 in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).It showed that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving the symptoms and signs of asthma patients and reducing the level of serum IL-4.After 3 months follow-up,compared the times of asthma attacks in the two groups.The times of ashma attacks in treatment group was significantly lower than in control group(P<0.01).The effect of the treatment group was more lasting and more able to control asthma attacks.Conclusion:Back-shu point embedding therapy can significantly improve symptoms,decrease serum IL-4 level and reduce the attacks times in asthma patients.The mechanism may berelate to the decrease of serum IL-4 level in patients to reduce airway inflammation and refulat immune status.The back-shu pointembedding therapy is simple,safe,effective lasting and no significant sideeffects,it is conducive to the long-term stable control of asthma,and worthly of clinical application.
