Combination Of Acupuncture With Medicine On Kidney And Blood Stasis Type Ovulation Obstructive Infertility For Effect Of Clinical Research

Objective:To find a more effect way to treat Infertility Due to Ovulatory Dysfunction(type: Kidney deficiency and blood stasis),I started this research program to observe the effect of two different kinds of treatment(Acupuncture combined with Bushen Huoxue Decoction and only Bushen Huoxue Decoction)towards it,the observing point is to know which treatment works better in promoting ovulation(which effects the pregnancy outcome directly).Methods:Using randomized controlled method to divide 40 patients diagnosed of Infertility Due to Ovulatory Dysfunction(type: Kidney deficiency and blood stasis)into 2 groups: acupuncture-medicine group(20 cases)and only-medicine group(20 cases).Then I treated the patients in acupuncture-medicine group using both acupuncture and chinese medicine(Bushen Huoxue Decoction),in the 7th day of every patient’s menstrual cycle I needle Guanyuan,Dahe,Qixue,Taixi,Taichong,Sanyinjiao,Yinlingquan,Zusanli and Hegu,QOD.A total of(13±2),and make them take the medicine at the same time,while the patients in the only-medicine group only receive chinese medicine treatment.all of the treatments above were kept until the patients’ next menstrual onset and lasts for 3 menstrual cycles.I recorded the data(including the change in curative effect,ovulation rate,endometrial condition,pregnancy rate and TCM symptom scores before and after the treatment),and check the data to see if they are significant differert.I did the same also to the after-treatment data.Results:(1)The ovulation rate,pregnancy rate,endometrial rate and TCM symptom scores of acupuncture-medicine group are better than before-treatment(P<0.05);(2)In the first menstrual cycle,the maximum follicle diameter in two groups had no statistical difference(P<0.05),and in the second and third ones it started to show difference: acupuncture-medicine group better than only-medicine group,and the differences between the two groups has statistical significance(P<0.05);(3)Among them ovulation rate in the acupuncture-medicine group was 68.3%,higher than it in only-medicine group,the differences between the two groups has statistical significance(P<0.05);(4)The endometrial condition and TCM symptom scores of acupuncture-medicine group are better than only-medicine group,the comparison has statistically significant difference(P<0.05);(5)Pregnancy Rate in acupuncture-medicine group was 40% and only-medicine group did it 10%,acupuncture-medicine group better than only-medicine group,the differences between the two groups showed statistical significance(P<0.05);(6)the total effective rate of acupuncture-medicine group was 85%,while only-medicine group shows only 60%.Differences between the curative effect of two groups had statistical significance(P < 0.05),The overall curative effect of acupuncture-medicine group was better than only-medicine group.Conclusion:Acupuncture-medicine group did better in improving pregnancy rate of the patients who diagnosed of Infertility Due to Ovulatory Dysfunction(type: Kidney deficiency and blood stasis)in the ways of improving their endometrial condition,promoting their Follicular Development,increasing their ovulation rate and improving their conditions.
