Research On Information Cognition And Information Behavior Of The Medical Students In Ubiquitous Knowledge Environment

With the rapid development of information technology and ubiquitous access to knowledge,Web2.0 information ordering and self-organization mechanism optimizing,the information users are in the knowledge creation and knowledge sharing network environment all the time.In ubiquitous knowledge environment,the way of knowledge creation,use and dissemination changed fundamentally,and the way of user’s thinking and behavior has also undergone tremendous changes.Therefore,we need to re-recognize the characteristics of user information behaviour and master the law of information behavior,and know users’ information cognitive processing and knowledge accepting state when they receive information resource,involved into the information environment,conduct information activity,process and use information and knowledge.The paper aims to explore the interactive mechanism of information cognition and information behavior,and how cognitive factors works in the transformation process of information behavior,and investigate and analyze characteristics and relationship of information cognition and information behavior of medical students.First of all,On the basis of summary and review of domestic and foreign research,made a simple introduction of related variables about information cognition,information behavior and ubiquitous knowledge environment,and described the information behavior model from the perspective of behavioral process,and discussed the characteristics of information cognition during the information behavior process,the objective and subjective factors that impact the user information cognition,and changes of users’ information behavior in ubiquitous knowledge environment.In addition,mainly revealed the interactive mechanism of information cognition and information behavior,mainly from perspectives of information expression,select control adaptive behavior explore the impact of information cognition on information behavior.In the expression of information need it affects the state of information need,as well as in selection control behaves as selective attention and perception,selective perception and memory,perceptual defense and applications,and in the process of information behavior,cognition regulation performs as cognitive balance of knowledge structure and behavior adaptive change.Similarly,information behavior has potential impact on information cognition,information behavior mainly affects mainly affects knowledge systems,metacognitive systems and cognitive strategies systems of cognitive system.And then,the paper analyzed the conversion of information behavior,including conversion mechanism of user information behavior,and cognitive information processing of information behavior conversion,and explored conversion mechanism of potential information need and information behavior from the perspective of behavioral processes based on environment factors and cognitive factors.Finally,designed and distributed the questionnaire about information cognition and information behavior of medical students based on the above theoretical research.Taking medical college in Henan Province as a sample,the paper analyzed characteristics and relationship of information cognition and information behavior of medical students with SPSS and Epidata,as well as factors that affected information behavior of medical students.The results of the survey shows that: mobile Internet and the Internet has become the main access to information(51.6%,40.4%),and information cognition and information behavior are positively correlated(r=0.446,P=0.000),and the difference of the level of information behavior has statistical significance in access to information,the purpose of information queries,the dependence of information search and attribution style of failure in information search(P﹤0.05).Concluded that systematic library knowledge has a greater impact on information behaviorthanfragmentednetwork information resource,we suggested to encourage local resources to maximum value,also improve medical students’ cognition of network and ability.The information behavior is positively related to the information cognition,19.9% of the level of information behavior variation can be explained by the information cognitive,and information cognition has a predictive effect on information behaviour to an extent.The environmental factors and the cognitive factors such as cognitive style and attribution style affect the level of user information behavior.
